Goods & services are more affordable & accessible for all when creditors' rights can be enforced effectively via the legal system.  Creditors' rights are vital to the economy.  MCBI is the state-level voice for the legal collections industry.  It is a non-profit corporate body composed of licensed Missouri attorneys who maintain an emphasis on representing creditors doing business in the state.  We work to raise awareness of & propose solutions to the legal challenges facing creditors in Missouri, working with entities such as:

• Office of State Courts Administrators (OSCA)
• Missouri Bar Association
• Missouri Association for Court Administration (MACA)
• Missouri Association of Probate and Associate Circuit Judges (MAPACJ)

MCBI meets quarterly to discuss legal topics & trends.  We sponsor & promote Continuing Legal Education ("CLE") seminars for professional development.  We discuss matters of mutual interest with lawmakers in an effort to improve the administration of justice in Missouri.  Our members agree to uphold the MCBI Pledge, the MCBI Bylaws & the MCBI Code of Professional Conduct & Ethics, holding ourselves accountable to higher standards.
